Advent: Children's Mass Notes

These "Mass Notes" have been created to be used by kids during the Four Sundays of Advent in lieu of being able to run Children's liturgy. They are not required! It is simply a way that we felt we could offer the children of our parish the opportunity to be engaged and drawn into the mass in this season of Advent during a pandemic.

These have been designed to be used by children of all ages. One side includes a picture to colour, a very short lesson to read through at home, and ideas to prepare our hearts for Jesus this Advent season.

The other side is entirely aimed at having our children follow along and engage in the Mass, including a memory challenge, a place to draw a picture of something they heard, write the name of (or draw) someone to pray for, and to think of something to thank Jesus for.

Please print off a copy at home, grab a few crayons, and bring them with you to Mass (whether you are in person or celebrating Advent from home via a Live Stream).

We hope this is a blessing to you and your family, and we pray you will use them as a tool to point your children's hearts to Jesus this Advent season.
