I am very proud and greatly honoured that Christ the King Parish in Shaunavon has a Catholic Education System which is a vital instrument of the Church to teach and proclaim the very person and love of Jesus Christ to the children in our community. In fact, most of the altar servers in the parish are products of CHRIST THE KING SCHOOL. Some of them are even involving, venturing and learning how to facilitate children’s liturgy which is the foundation of building blocks of their personal and intimate relationship with Jesus. This is indeed a significant indication that the young generation of our Church is beginning to shine and thrive.
I would like to commend the teachers, educators, advocates and parents for their commitment and passion to ensure that the spirit of Catholic education is well delivered to the future of our Church. Rest assured of my constant support and prayers for your endeavour.
Time and again, the challenge remains the same for all of us... Believe what you read. Teach what you believe. Practise what you teach!
