Bible Text: “He sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God...take nothing on your journey”. Luke 9. 1-6
Let us focus on the thought that the Lord asked His disciples not to take anything while doing the proclamation of the kingdom of God. It means that they don't just put this mission on hand. All are in God's hands. It's not primarily our job it is His own work. We will rely solely on Him for our good. We are just collaborators in this noble mission.
Even the resentment, let's not take it personally. In serving the Lord we will always experience rejection. We will be hurt for sure. This can make us feel weak. Let it be a learning experience for us. Drop the dust of resentment and frustration and move on despite all. We depend on God only and nothing else.
Ask the Lord to send us this mission according to our capacity and state in life. Make us a tool of healing in many aspects and areas of our life today.
Don't carry anything, only trust and God will help, guide and defend you.
